PSN Q&A: Delivering secure collaboration, innovation and partnerships

Published 02 October 2013

Take part in our latest Q&A discussion on Thursday lunchtime, 3rd October

Join us tomorrow, Thursday 3rd October, between 12.00-1.00pm for a Government Computing-BT online discussion on how the public services network (PSN) will work and who will use it.

This Q&A, on supporting critical public services, will consider the security of services are being offered across PSN, what they will be used for, the benefits and how this development will enable the growth of PSN and the transformation of public services that demand secure yet open collaboration. It will also discuss the innovation being fostered through the PSN and the opportunities for partnerships.

Panellists for the discussion will include Dylan Roberts, member of the Local CIO Council and Chief Officer ICT at Leeds City Council; Nick Roberts, Group Manager - Partnerships and Collaboration, Surrey County Council; Jason Hall, Director of PSN, BT Global Services; Alan Mo, Principal Analyst, Kable; Neil Mellor, Marketing Director, PSNGB; and John Stubley, PSN Operations Director, Cabinet Office.

The Q&A is the latest in a series of discussions that have examined the growth of PSN. Previous discussions have centred on shared services in the PSN era and the challenges in creating the PSN public sector information highway.
